Overview
This revolutionary tool works alongside your existing
application to automatically print coupons based on predefined sales criteria.
It allows you to define specific keywords which "trigger" the printing of a
certain coupon. For example, a retailer can print a coupon for every bottle of
wine sold by choosing "wine" as the keyword which is then associated with a
predefined coupon. This could be further enhanced by having a keyword for
"white wine" and another for "red wine". These could then be linked to two
different coupons. The same can be carried out for a value so that a coupon is
printed for all sales of a certain amount. In fact any text anywhere in the
receipt can be used as a trigger.
To take advantage of this feature you first you need to design
your coupons as a jpegs, gifs or bmps. These are saved using the IMAGE IMPORT
TOOL and given a unique name. This unique name is then associated with a
keyword or keywords. When a receipt is printed, the driver scans the data and
if it finds a match it will add the relevant coupon at the end of the receipt.
An added benefit of this feature is that the coupons are stored
on the PC not in the printer's memory. This means that the system can be
configured even before the printer is installed and a change of coupon means
that you only need to update the image on the PC - not download a new one to
the printer.
