Overview
For a long time receipts have been very plain and uninteresting
pieces of paper, but thanks to the TSP100 futurePRNT this is about to change.
It features a receipt redesign tool which works completely independently of the
existing software allowing you to make any changes required.
Want to remove an existing logo or text from the top and/or
bottom of your receipt ? Simply use the RECEIPT CROPPING TOOL to crop unwanted
sections from the receipt by definining the amount of data (in mm) to be
cropped from each end.
Having removed unwanted information, you can now add a new logo
using the IMAGE IMPORT TOOL. An unlimited number of colour or mono jpegs, gifs
or bmps can be imported and modified to suit the receipt layout. No longer do
you need to pre-size or setup the image. Simply import it, change the size and
mono dithering and then save it. Next choose where on the receipt you want the
logo to appear and the driver does the rest.
An added benefit of this feature is that the logos (together
with the complete printer configuration settings) are stored on the PC in an
XML file and not in the printer's memory. This means that the system can be
configured even before the printer is installed and for a change of logo you
only need to update the XML file on the PC - not download a new one to the
printer.
Finally, you can replace the tired old text with any True Type
font on the local PC. Simply select the font you wish to use and the driver
does the rest as each receipt is printed (available early 2006).
